At Stop and Go Potties, our drivers are the backbone of portable toilet rentals in Bryan, College Station, Brenham, and throughout Central Texas. But what does a day in their life look like, and how do they stay safe—especially during the sweltering Texas summer?

A Day in the Life: What Our Drivers Do
Our drivers handle a wide range of responsibilities to ensure every porta potty rental is clean, accessible, and ready for use:
Early Start: The day begins as early as 3 AM for some team members, with most on the road by 6 AM to beat the Texas heat and meet our customers’ needs.
Pre-Trip Inspections: Every day starts with an accurate pre-trip inspection, ensuring all equipment is safe and ready for the road.
Busy Routes: Each driver services between 30 and 90 job sites per route per day, covering a wide range of locations, from construction sites to festivals and public events.
Long Shifts: Our team typically runs a 10-hour shift, demonstrating incredible stamina and dedication.
End-of-Day Routine: After a long day, drivers empty their trucks, restock supplies, and fuel up—preparing to do it all again the next day.
Commitment to Excellence
We set ambitious goals and celebrate our achievements. In May, we had a record-breaking week with 3,536 services and $101,325 in revenue—far surpassing our usual targets of 2,000 services and $50,000 in revenue for a week. This milestone is a testament to the hard work and efficiency of our entire team.
Safety First—Always
Safety is at the heart of everything we do. Our drivers are held to the highest standards when it comes to personal protective equipment (PPE) and daily vehicle inspections:
Accurate Pre- and Post-Trips: Thorough inspections before and after every shift help prevent issues and keep everyone safe.
PPE Standards: Drivers always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, hats, and breathable uniforms, to protect themselves from hazards and the elements.
Hydration and Breaks: During the Texas summer, it is especially essential to stay hydrated and take regular breaks.
